Mat classes

Beginners, intermediate and advanced. This class is floor-based with the use of small props, eg, balls and bands to help facilitate positive movement.

Rehab classes

Rehab classes

Mat-based classes with the use of props, eg, chairs and balls, for people unable to move freely without discomfort.

Circuit

Working with a lot of the equipment at one’s own pace in a small group. We bring in all of Joseph’s pieces of apparatus: reformer; chair; ped-o-pull; ladder barrel and step barrel.

Reformer

Reformer

Classes for beginners, intermediate and advanced men and women in very small groups. The reformer is a moving carriage with springs to assist and resist movement for strength, stability and mobility. The movements performed on the reformer range from fundamental to extremely advanced, movements that are performed in every conceivable position and for every possible purpose. The reformer offers the most variety of movements, it readily accommodates movement in a full range, rather than the limited range offered by some of the other pieces. The scope of the reformer is infinite.

Chair

£12 (1 hr)

Chair

Classes for men and women, very much like the reformer, but it is in a much more functional gravity-resisted position. This unassuming box with four springs offers infinite possibilities. The chair is not easy to use and it often proves unforgiving. It highlights imbalances and weaknesses like no other piece of apparatus. At the same time, it offers possibilities for dealing with these problems that are unique and specific to the chair. It is also well-suited for improving general fitness and enhancing athletic performance.

For Mums that are having or just had their baby. A friendly learning environment to exchange experiences and learn safe healthy exercises. Please bring your baby with you.

One-to-one sessions and treatments are available for £20 for 30min
